Our Commitment to Sustainability



Although Freedom Merchants doesn’t manufacture a product, we can still make a big difference in our footprint. The daily habits and choices we make on a day-to-day basis impact many aspects of our work environment. Who we choose to partner with and buy from allows us to directly support and benefit other companies with the same purposeful mindset. Take a look at our Green Chart below.

Printing Company We print very infrequently, always using most efficient ink cartridges that always are recycled.
Plastic Bags Company has a strict "No Plastic Bags" policy for any Food carry-out, office-products or any other situation.
Trash and Recycling While we rarely buy anything, when we do we choose products that can be recycled. Toner cartridges are refilled by local, green certified stores. Electronics, computers, light bulbs and batteries are all handled responsibly.
Shipping Policies Reuse all incoming packaging and never purchase new boxes.

Coffee and Tea

Provide organic, fair trade coffee that use recyclable and compostable packaging.

Company Transportation

Staff commutes with 100% foot, bike and bus-powered methods. transit or bike parking.

Choose products that can be recycled or composted, and recycle and compost everything possible. Toner cartridges are refilled by local, green certified stores. Electronics, computers, light bulbs and batteries are handled responsibly. We also share our bins with office neighbors and encourage them to compost and recycle.

Snacks and Beverages

Provide fresh fruit, vegetables and nuts by walking to the fruit vendor outside (using reusable non-plastic shopping bags or our hands!), filtered water and organic almond milk.
