(a) Qualified rates apply to Consumer cards and also to some Corporate cards. Non-Qualified rates typically refer to Corporate cards, Foreign cards, Government cards, and other types of specialized cards that have a higher risk profile to their Issuing Bank than a basic Consumer credit/debit card. As a merchant, it’s impossible to know ahead of time what category a card will fall into. Your monthly effective rate will be some mixture of Qualified and Non-Qualified rates depending on your customer base.
(b) Freedom Merchants’ normal $150 Setup fee is now fully waived for a limited time. FM Setup includes one (or more) QuickBooks Desktop/Pro/Enterprise-integrated Invoice Link(s), one Multi-Invoice web-connectable or stand-alone page/tool, Surcharge on/off setting, automated Recurring-billing setup, card-present options, and limitless other free customizations that you might need. Echeck/ACH service is also waived now in full (had been $37 before).
Simple Setup
Option 1 – We Map your Accounts
- Give Freedom Merchants your Chart of Accounts list and we take care of everything.
- Once setup, you export any and all transactions from your gateway and import them into your QuickBooks Desktop software.
Option 2 – You Map your Accounts
- We send you instructions for Mapping your Accounts in your gateway.
- You test a transaction, do the export/import and you’re done!

Invoice Configuration (B2B)
- Sign up for a Freedom Merchants merchant-account.
- We create an Invoice page for you on the same day.
- Customers pay you with either Credit-Card OR Check/ACH.
- Data from the Invoice page accumulates in your virtual-terminal.
